Dr. Chong is an accomplished optometrist with a strong educational background and specialized training in various aspects of eye care. She obtained her degree in clinical medicine from the Capital Medical University and a Master's in ophthalmology from Beijing Tongren Hospital in China. Dr. Chong then graduated with Dean’s Honours from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, US.
During her clinical training, Dr. Chong focused on ocular diseases and specialty contact lenses fitting at prestigious institutions including the Community Health Center and VA Hospital in Boston, US, and Sarnia, ON. Additionally, she gained experience in vision therapy in Northampton, US.
As a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, Dr. Chong provides eye care in the diagnosis and management of various ocular diseases, such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, and dry eyes. Her particular interests lie in specialty contact lenses fitting and vision therapy, where she applies her expertise to provide personalized care for her patients.
Dr. Chong is fluent in English and Mandarin.
崇医生毕业于中国首都医科大学临床医学专业，并在北京同仁医院完成住院医规培并获得了眼科硕士学位。随后，崇医生在美国波士顿的新英格兰验光学院以优异成绩毕业。
在临床培训期间，崇医生在美国波士顿的社区卫生中心和VA医院以及加拿大安省Sarnia的眼科诊所专注于眼部疾病和特种隐形眼镜的培训。此外，她还在美国北安普顿诊所积累了丰富的视觉疗法的经验。
